Graham Group Ltd. E-mail Fraud Warning
CALGARY—6 November 2009
Graham has received information regarding fraudulent emails by
individuals representing themselves to be Graham employees seeking
temporary accommodations. The email typically originates from a
@gmail.com email address, with variations of the "Graham Group" (for
example, "graham.group.ltd") name. The author claims to be a Graham
employee, often out of Quebec, seeking to lease accommodations in
anticipation of a design and construction conference. Recipients are
asked to send banking details in order to receive damage deposits. The
author has used different names, including "Garry Pello" and "Peter
Grittling", but may use other names.
Please be advised that the Graham Group of Companies do not use @gmail
or similar webmail addresses, and recipients of such emails are asked to
not divulge any personal information. Please notify Graham by forwarding
any such communications to:
