Graham Group Ltd. Named as a Winner in the 2006 Canadian Information Productivity Awards

Canada’s highest-prestige and longest-running IT awards program recognizes Canadian organizations for their innovative use of technology

TORONTO—7 November 2006—The Canadian Information Productivity Awards (CIPA) today announced Graham Group Ltd. is a 2006 Award of Excellence recipient at the CIPA Gala Banquet held at the Westin Harbour Castle Conference Centre on November 1, 2006.

Graham Group Ltd. is an employee-owned enterprise of general contracting, construction, project management and masonry companies. The company supports a diverse portfolio of commercial, infrastructure, industrial and masonry projects through a network of fourteen offices in Canada and the United States.

CIPA’s awards program commemorates organizations that have applied IT innovation to improve productivity and efficiency throughout the organization. Winners for the annual awards are selected from entries submitted by public and private organizations of all sizes and types across Canada. This year’s black tie Gala saw 64 organizations with 75 innovative IT projects compete for 25 Awards of Excellence across 4 categories. A sellout crowd of nearly 900 senior executives enthusiastically applauded the innovative solutions to business challenges and opportunities.

Graham Group Ltd. was selected for Silver Award of Excellence in Organizational Transformation, For Profit based on an entry which outlined its development and use of Toolbox, a suite of integrated software applications tailored to the construction industry. Toolbox is used by all Graham employees, and provides a consistent set of processes to support new levels of cost control, operational efficiency and information sharing.
